Details on Blue Basins Waterfall
Rating of this hike is (6) Challenging
Deep in the remote village of "Meyah" in the hills of Paramin we start off our trek downstream along a very narrow stream known as Meyah River....the source of Blue Basin Waterfall. Great downhill trekking with some beautiful vistas along the way. The downhill slowly becomes quite challenging where the trekker must be very careful every step of the way simply because the terrain is a very stony and rocky one with lots of loose rocks along the way. The beautiful and low keyed "Tee Sue Waterfall" lies along the way and a short stop can be quite refreshing before proceeding. Further downstream, 2 popular pools "White Hole and Coffin Hole" are also seen. These pools, though small are very deep.
Just below Coffin Hole is our final destination, Blue Basins Waterfall. Great swimming here.
